The Experts:

Prof. Reinhard Hickel – LMU München

Reinhard Hickel has made many important contributions to the characterization of restorative materials including toxicity/side effects of amalgam and replacement materials in dentistry, most of which were conducted at the LMU Munich Clinical Center, which he is leading since 1991.

Prof. Bart van Meerbeek – KU Leuven

Bart van Meerbeek ist Professor at the KU Leuven and founder of the BIOMAT -Biomaterials Research Group. His primary research interest involves studies related to the broad field of Adhesive Dentistry, including clinical research as well as fundamental research regarding dental adhesive technology in particular.

He is editor in chief of The Journal of Adhesive Dentistry

Prof. Roland Frankenberger – Universität Marburg

Recent studies by Frankenberger deal with biofilms and their role in the development of secondary caries, with modern CAD/CAM materials, post-endodontic restorations and selected clinical problems in pediatric dentistry. He is the president of the scientific parent organisation of German dentistry, the German Society for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (DGZMK).
